Ginger that is stray Cat Accidentally Enters A School Classroom And Decides To Enroll As A Student #2

This is Tombi, the little orange cat wandered into a public elementary school in the city of Izmir, Turkey and decided to make it his forever home and the students there his friends.

Last month, Tombi showed up in the school’s garden and just kept coming back. Unlike most stray cats in the area, who can be skittish and scared of people, Tombi is friendly and outgoing. He loves walking up to the children seeking pets and attention.

No one knows exactly where Tombi came from, but there is no doubt at all that he has found the place where he belongs. After a couple of weeks of hanging around the school’s garden, he decided to become a student. So, he wandered into third grade classroom to start his study.

When the small kitten wandered into the class of Zlem Pnar Ivaşcu, a third grade teacher at the school, she was taken aback. Ivaşcu told The Dodo, “He came inside our classroom.” “He was a big hit with the kids.” Tombi had quickly established himself as a regular in Mrs. Ivaşcu’s class.

Many people believe that having a cat roaming about the classroom would be disruptive for young pupils, however Mrs. Ivaşcu discovered that Tombi had the opposite impact.

The students were captivated by the kitty’s charm and playful curiosity. They become more excited to be in class, and instead of horsing around during breaks, they’ve been calmer and more focused. “The children come on time to school, and they are taking care of Tombi,” Ivaşcu said. “This is good for them.”

However, after learning that a stray cat was walking around the school, a parent filed a complaint. They said Tombi was a health hazard and ordered him to leave.

Tombi was sent to a veterinary facility for vaccinations, and Vaşcu later found him a suitable home. The small guy, on the other hand, was unhappy at the house and didn’t get along with the other cat who previously resided there. He didn’t eat virtually anything for three days. As a result, Vaşcu and her husband decided to return him to their home and keep him.

Students missed Tombi so much, so they wrote letters and did drawings for their feline friend to cheer him up. It was clear that he missed his friends, too.

İvaşcu shared Tombi’s story on social media and it quickly went viral. People tried to do everything to help Tombi come back to the school with his friends.

“On all TV news, the story received a lot of attention and support,” Vaşcu said. “I received a lot of help from a number of individuals, including my boss and the director of education in zmir.”
